About the Staff

Pattie Apple, Denver Health Coordinator

Responsible for day-to-day administrative aspects of training Denver Health residents and scheduling of clinic providers for Lowry Family Health Clinic.  I have worked at Lowry for three years as registration clerk and served as coordinator for two years.  When I'm not working I enjoy gardening, quilting, and tracing my family history.  I'm a Denver native and have three grown children.

Alice Skram, Program Coordinator

I have been with the program for six years, as Administrative Assistant and then as Coordinator. I oversee the administrative operations of the residency program. My interests are family, cross-stitching and crafts, and sight-seeing in Colorado. I have two wonderful grandsons and a large family that I'm very close to. I have worked in residency programs since 1993 and made many close friends in Family Medicine. I enjoy working with residents because of their enthusiasm for medicine and working with faculty because of their giving nature.

Mandy Whitton

Born and raised in Southern California, I spent 7 years as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy. My time in the military took me to amazing destinations such as Japan, Russia, Australia, China, Thailand and Indonesia (to name a few). I have been in Denver since 2005 and I absolutely love it here. It was my good fortune to join the Univ of CO Family Medicine Residency in 2006. I truly enjoy working with the residents and faculty of this program.
