Clinical Care in Family Medicine At the Department of Family Medicine, we are committed to providing outstanding health care based on the principles and values of family medicine. We participate in the University-wide Primary Care strategy--a joint initiative between the University of Colorado Hospital and our Faculty Practice Plan. This strategy led the creation of community-based primary care practices where we see about 100,000 patients a year. We also collaborate with a number of affilated programs within the UCHSC.
